Honda RC213V | 2014

The Repsol Honda RC213V was a pivotal bike for Honda winning many championships due to its 4 Cylinder - V configuration motor. The Iconic Repsol branding is extremely eye catching and bright, making it impossible to miss on the grid.

This model by Tamiya is a faithful representation of the real bike. Highly detailed in every aspect but special attention was given to the motor and the exhaust system. This bike has a unique exhaust routing underneath the pilot seat that is perfectly captured by the kit including the weld lines.

Although this kit comes with a huge number of decals they are pretty easy to place since most of them are for sponsors. The biggest challenge here was painting the Repsol colors.

The kit does include a set of pre-drawn masks but they have to be very carefully cut. The order of painting is also extremely important and can be tricky to achieve a good finish.
